Noosa Festival of Surfing (NFOS)
In 2018, World Surfaris took over the management of the Noosa Festival of Surfing. Created in 1992 by the Noosa Malibu Club, who continue to be the owners of the intellectual property associated with event, the Noosa Festival of Surfing has grown to be the largest longboard competition in the world. It is also host to the amazing Vetshop Australia Dog Surfing Championships. Usually held in the first half of March each year, more details on this nearly 2-week celebration of the joy of surfing can be found at www.noosafestivalofsurfing.com.

Byron Bay Surf Festival (BBSF)
Founded in 2010 by creative artist and surfer James McMillan with the tagline “Surf Culture Now”, World Surfaris purchased the majority ownership of BBSF in 2020. Indicative of the vision that World Surfaris brings to its events, the inaugural Australian Cosmic Creek event was held as part of the BBSF program in early September 2022. Cosmic Creek was first run at Salt Creek in California in 1997 and is a celebration of old gold – a reminder of where we’ve been and where we are going. Cosmic Creek was brought to BBSF by Vissla and the original Cosmic Creek founder Eric Diamond. See more at www.byronbaysurffestival.com.au.
