Taiwan open to surfers!

Good news surfers! Taiwan could be your next overseas surf trip as soon as October.

Taiwan is planning to gradually reopen transportation and tourism in 3 stages, the last of which will allow foreign tourists to visit the country in October 2020 onwards.

Taiwan has experienced no new cases of Covid-19 since the 5th May 2020 and looks to have brought the outbreak under control. Epidemic prevention restrictions are now being relaxed.

Stage 1 – Will see a relaxation on food bans and ticketing restrictions

Stage 2 – The end of the face-mask requirement, body temperature checks and social distancing requirements.

Stage 3 – Opening Taiwan doors to international tourists. This stage is currently planned for this October 1st – December 31st.

Unfortunately there is no update on if we will be able to leave our own countries yet, but you would think those announcements will start to filter through in the coming weeks/months.

If you have always wanted to go to Taiwan OR you want to get back there, please speak to our team or check out Taiwan Surf Adventures below.
