Accommodation
Designed for space and comfort, Discover Mentawais has four, spacious twin share cabins, with AC through ought. There are three ensuite bathrooms with plenty of move about room below deck. All cabins have air-conditioning, individual fans, charging outlets & cupboard space for belongings to help you feel at home
Above deck, there is plenty of space to spread out after a long day of surfing. There is a big aft deck lounge area for up to 8 people with lounge seating and shade covers. All forward deck space has lounge beds with cushions for comfort, perfect for enjoying a beverage in the evening whilst watching another brilliant sunset. The cockpit area has U shaped lounge seating for 12, with a table drink holders and is able to be fully enclosed if raining or open with fresh air and shade above during the day.
Meals
On Discover Mentawais, your onboard chef will prepare fresh, healthy and plentiful meals, whilst accommodating any dietary requirements. Meals include local and western dishes, utililising freshly caught fish, local produce, fresh fruits and vegetables.
Included in your package are 3 meals a day, snacks, coconuts, tea, coffee and fresh drinking waters (soft drinks and alcoholic beverages available at additional cost).
Surf Discover Mentawai Surf Charters
With a limit of just 8 surfers onboard, guests can expect to be able to surf a huge variety of waves from fun, mellow walls to hollow world class barrels, all without the pressure of your very own "rent - a - crowd"!
Covering the far south of the island chain you can surf the Hole and Thunders, which are go-to wave's if the swell is small. After scouting the southern fringes, the charter makes it way up to the best performance wave in the region, Macaronis. If you want a fix of real adrenaline, Greenbush is just around the corner. Heading further north you reach the renowned Lance’s Left and the amazing HT’s (Hollow Trees, Lance’s Right) which comes out of deep water from what seems the entirely wrong direction!
Following the rugged coastline north again we come to the Playgrounds where you can throw a dart in any direction and you’ll find a surf break reeling down a reef. This area has so many waves to choose from and ones that you would have seen plastered all over your social media feeds. These are all bucket list waves and you’ll be taking back memories to last a lifetime!

Non-Surf Activities
If the swell magnets turn off (unlikely!) or you just need a break from endless waves and marathon sessions in the water, Discoverer Mentawais is equipped with the best fishing gear to search out some of the best fishing spots on offer. Alternatively, you can always jump in for a snorkel and drift around the plentiful lagoons teaming with marine life with snorkeling gear available on board.
