Ninjas is perfect for Beginner/Intermediate surfers but offers more advanced surfers some challenges section on the outside and inside reef sections. It is best surfed on a low-mid tide and a smaller swell of 2-4ft hugging the reef, making it more hollow.

There are 3 magical dining options at Club Med Kani.

The Vehli restaurant is a beautifully designed open air buffet style dining option canvassing a generous variety of international and Asian dishes.

The Kandu restaurant is set in the shade along the turquoise lagoons of Club Med Kani. It is a relaxed dining experience offering a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tables seat up to 8 people making it a great option for groups and families to dine together in a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere.

The Kaana restaurant specialises in light bites. Delicious asian soups, tapas, sandwhiches and a variety of small plate options to savour. Open in the afternoon and evening only.

The Sunset bar offers breaktaking views of the lagoon and overwater bungalows and is a popular afternoon watering hole for obvious reasons.

The Iru bar is a restful reprieve for a fresh mixed or poured libation.

The Manta Lounge is the newest Club Med bar perfectly perched for cocktail hour and sunset drinks with friends and family. It also serves up some delicious finger food like sushi, sandwhiches and samosas from 6pm – midnight.

The Manta Beach Bar is the most popular watering hole on the island and welcomes you any time of day into a cozy and very liveable space. Breakfast can be served here in the morning and appetisers and finger foods in the afternoon.

Surf Club Med Kani – Maldives

The Maldives has been a surf spot on the rise for the past decade. North Male in particular offers surfers a range of wave types to suit even the most novice of surfers. It is a bit more forgiving than Indonesia, Tahiti and other Pacific Island nations and is best from April – November.

Surf Transfers are flexible and should be pre-arranged before you arrive at Club Med. Our surf guide is an experienced surfer and knows the where the best waves will be on any given day. Our speed boat, Orca will pick you up daily from the Club Med Jetty and with its twin 250hp engines will have you flying between breaks faster than anyone else in the region.
