AMAZING, crystal aqua blue waters, colourful fish, great boat and people, wonderful sunrises and sunsets
We had the most wonderful family trip on Sharifa. I was somewhat ambivalent about the trip before we left home, being a non-surfer. I was trying to make myself excited realising that we were going to a most beautiful place. But I was worried about 10 nights on a boat, the heat and sun, the children (Harry 24 and Jess 19) surfing a reef. Anyway, it was SO good, I am really keen for the next trip when we can also take our eldest daughter Nicola 26 and her boyfriend Nick. Shadows was an excellent surf guide, he took Kristin and I out on our boogie boards, he was always on the lookout for all guests, he got us SIM cards and has a wonderful personality. Likewise Hoobs was great at navigating the boat to shelter for our ‘pool bar’ off the back of the boat on our last night. A masseuse and yoga instructor would be a great addition even if just for days 3, 6 and 9. The sparkling wine was great, we ran out. The crew were excellent, the wine glasses were cleaned with a cloth, San Deip was very attentive with his service of meals and drinks. There were not enough snorkel and masks on board, so this would be good to supply. The island visits were great, fresh coconut juice fantastic, beach BBQ amazing, beach bonfire beautiful. Overall, we have come back singing praises for the most wonderful trip of a lifetime.
