Bloody Awesome, nice to have some power and the right winds to make barrels stay open and stand up.

Salani is a great place and still a paradise that time forgot. Lets keep it that way, NO bali shit there please. The managers, Drew and Nikki are fantastic and very helpful and knowledgeable with all that is Samoa and surfing and sights and getting around. Salanis ‘RIGHT’ is unbelievable and needs commitment when considering what wave to take, the outcome is obvious big barrels and hard carving turns, love it and all the secret places we surfed truly amazing and not easy to get to unless privileged.

Food was great and DREW’s staff are amazing, Mutti, Becca, Sarah, Julie, Moniz & Ready, Pusu & Pele, Kay & Tarfa.  The Fales are well appointed and very comfortable. Down side, flies during the day and mozzie at night, but rollons / coils deal with that easy enough. Too many dogs and too many slow drivers but hey island style answers those inpatient virtues, huh hah.

(9.5/10.0) will definitely go back many more times. There’s so many waves yet to be surfed there, you just have to look at the access options, Hmmm!!  Fast boats, right tides and the right winds, there’s always swell somewhere in Samoa, either island. So much potential.

Thanks Salani, Drew and Nikki, and of course World Surfaris.
