Best surf experience ever!
From the moment they meet you at the airport until they drop you back there, you are looked after so well. Forget the ferry to the island… you are driven in their personal speedboat and get there in 3 1/2 hrs ready for the surf in the afternoon. They even drive you around Padang to have a meal and a massage! The surfing is amazing. They cater for everyone whether a short boarder wanting the ultimate wave or like us long boarders who wanted to challenge ourselves. Christie and Shane as the surf guides are fantastic, not to mention Rahim and the boat drivers.
The waves are there for everyone and they will find what suits you best. Hideaways out the front is such a great wave and something you can’t experience anywhere else. Finally the accomodation is great. The chalets are so comfortable and the ensuite is everything you need. The housekeepers are friendly and non intrusive but make sure that everything you need is there. The food is plentiful and very tasty. I honestly can’t fault Wavepark in anything they do! We’ve been twice and can’t wait until we return.
