The best trip I've been on in years!

Food and staff were A1!  The aussie boys running the camps (Dane and James) were super easy going, all to happy to help out, let us catch all the waves and were just top blokes!  The Indo staff were really nice also. Seja the chef was amazing and the food was on another level.  Each meal was different from the last and super fresh and tasty!

Surf was also really good.  Fluffy beaches right through to some genuinely heavy A-Frames.  Sets were super inconsistent so it helped that we were the only ones surfing, however, if the
neighbouring surf resort had surfers the place would have got crowded quick smart.  Aura is definitely not the only resort by “the peak”.  (Falsely advertised by the Aura website). I’d be
spewing if I turned up and saw that there was up to 20+ guys from Mahi Mahi plus the potential 14 guys from Aura.  In saying all that, we scored uncrowded, quality waves almost every day. Tea
Bags and Coffins are genuinely world class on their day.

World Surfaris (Anthony) made the whole process of getting to and from Simeulue super easy.  He was always obliging and I would book through him again without a shadow of a doubt!
