The Telo Islands surf season runs from May through to October, with swells reaching up to 10 ft or more. The swell is most consistent during the peak season, however surfers can experience epic waves in the off season with fewer crowds.
This region of Sumatra provides a variety of waves to challenge the most experienced surfers, as well as conditions to suit beginners.
