Typically September has always produced the goods around the Central Mentawais, 2016 was no different.  We had perfect conditions through the first 2 weeks of September with our experiencing pumping waves, cold bintangs and stories by the fireplace well into the night. 

 

With such perfect waves rolling through, the nights get a bit quite here at Kingfisher, with tired bodies hitting a wall sometimes before 8pm!  It’s hard to blame our guests after surfing perfect waves out the front for more than 6 hours a day would take its toll on even the fittest surfers.
