It’s been a REALLY GOOD July in the Mentawais this month! Lances Left and Lances Right on either side of the island have been constantly firing with up to 8ft swells pulsing through on occassion! Bintangs has also been cranking with our guests enjoying some of the best quality Bintangs I’ve ever seen – “No pun intended”

Kingfisher Bay Resort guests lucked into some beautiful conditions from July 7th – July 20th. The waves varied in height from 3 – 5ft with the occassional bigger day. Resident photographer, Miguel Soares was able to capture World Surfaris clients – Max, George and Charlie who lucked into the awesome conditions with a standout session over at Bintangs and surfed until their arms and legs gave way. 

Charlie said it was great to have Kingfisher Resort to ourselves for most of the stay.  The crew worked tirelessly to make us feel comfortable and they got us to the waves first every day! 

The boys made plans to head to the Playgrounds area one day by speed boat but when you walk out of your room and see Lances Left firing right infront with no one else out, its hard to get up and leave! We will be back for sure!
