Santa Lusia Trip 2 - 2015 Surf Season

The Santa Lusia has returned from it's second trip of 2015 and it looks like the guys scored big time! The trip started in the Northern Ments, followed by uncrowded Greenbush and a full moon night surf at Maccas! The trip wrapped up at 6ft Lances Left where the boys were sent off by a growing swell and some of the longest waves many had ever ridden. There are still a few trips available for 2015 late season on Santa Lusia so check out the availability here.

"The 2015 season keeps getting better.  We just got back from another epic trip with a great bunch of guys who scored some amazing waves all through the Mentawai Island chain.  The trip started in the northern Ments where on the first day we were greeted by a fun A-frame reef and no one to be seen. For the first week the luck continued and we managed to dodge the other boats and score a bunch of great waves to ourselves including overhead Icelands and Scarecrows.

With a new swell on the forecast and southerly winds continuing the call was made to head south and chase a few of the world class lefts on the Pagai Selatan. The highlight of the trip was arriving to Thunders with a 6-8ft swell being groomed by light offshore and 2 guys in the water. The conditions had spoilt the goofy's for the first half of the trip but early in the second half of the trip we managed to score the ever fickle Rag's right doing a perfect impression of the barrels everyone dreams of.

The later part of the trip saw us surf some fun Greenbush by ourselves, night surf Maccas on the full moon and follow up the next day sharing waves with one other boat. The trip wrapped up at 6ft Lances Left where the boys were sent off by a growing swell and some of the longest waves many had ever ridden.

There are still a few trips available for 2015 late season, check out the availabilities and we look forward to having you on-board".
