World Surfaris will once again participate in the Cricks Noosa Festival of Surfing in 2015, sponsoring the Old Mal division. The boards in the Old Mal division must all pre-date 1968 (the end of the original longboard era) and riders will be judged on technique, style and manoeuvers of that era.
The event is one of the biggest cultural events in the world – with competitor numbers exceeding 600 from all over the world. It’s a festival of fun and entertainment, not to mention thrilling waves.
World Surfaris will give away a once-in-a-lifetime prize package to one lucky competitor consisting of a week for two to Hudhuranfushi Resort in the Maldives. The prize also includes return economy airfares from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne to Male, flying Malaysia Airlines.
