Aura Surf Resort – September surf report 2017

September brought us yet another awesome month for waves around Aura. After a few stormy days to start the month, consistent swells filled in the rest of the month and were met with good weather and winds, allowing The Peak (directly out front) to pump nearly every day.

Guests also enjoyed plenty other epic sessions all up and down our wave rich coastline. We took a few trips up to the north tip of the island, where guests enjoyed a long, picturesque left pointbreak.

There were some epic sessions on the beach breaks around Aura too, with some nice banks forming from those storms and rain early in the month. Guests also got out on our scooters and did a bit of exploring on their own, from hidden jungle waterfall trips to surfing secret waves, there was plenty to entertain. We also had plenty of trips on the Aura speedboat, getting our guests out to Teabags, where many enjoyed the best barrels of their lives.

The month concluded with pumping Teabags sessions and some charging guests trading off stand up tubes for 3 straight days. We are now enjoying some smaller but clean conditions and looking forward to the months ahead.
