Winners are grinners – North Shore boardriders win Straddie Assault!

The Straddy Assault was held the other weekend with 2-3 foot pealing left handers running down Main beach North Stradbroke Island. 

There was over 20 Boardriders teams competing from Lennox to Noosa. I was in the last heat of the day and needed to win my heat to beat Snapper. Who have taken out the title 20 years out of the 26 years the comp has been running. As it turns out I won my heat, and North Shore boardriders took out the title, first time in 26 years. I was quick to ring Gozzy and inform him of the good news!

Just got back from Santa Cruz O’neill cold water classic and heading to Hawaii for a month. Keep ya posted.
