Kirra Surf Night

Hi All,

        World Surfaris recently held a Surf Travel Info night Kirra Surf. The night saw a great turn out with an easy going crowd, a few beers and some pizza. Occy and Parko dropped in, there was a couple of give aways and one very excited grom.

The following e-mail hit my inbox and its great to see that the energy from Groms isn’t Killer Pythons and  Red Bull but genuine stoke.

Dear David,
I’m writing this as a thank you for Thursday night and I thought that you would like the way that I told my friends on Friday about the best day of my life the day before. I said to them
“two weeks ago me and my dad got invited to the Kirrasurf black label night being put on by World Surfaris.I was very excited about going and watching the presentation and meeting Occy and Parko.When we got there there was free pizza,there was free drinks and free beer for dad.How cool is that?Then we watched some free surf movies and was given a bag of stickers and wax and a booklet for JS surfboards,Strategic airlines and Earth and Sea pizzas the sponsors of the night.How cool is that?Then I got two half surfboards that I took with me signed by both Occy and Parko(two of my favourite surfers)HOW COOL IS THAT?Then when I was looking at the boards down stairs they announced that the lucky door prizes would be drawn soon.I asked my dad if he had completed the questionnaire and put it in the bird cage.He told me he did.So we went back upstairs for the draw.

Parko drew out third place which was a $150 Kirrasurf voucher.I didnt win that.
Occy drew out Second place which was a JS surfboard and announced Craig Harry or Harry Craig was the winner.that’s me I said and I jumped up to shake hands with Occy,Parko and Scardi.
They then drew out first prize which was a trip to Bali and the winner was Who cares.I had the surfboard.HOW COOL IS THAT?
Phil Swan told me that I could down stairs and pick out any JS surfboard and if there was a problem finding one that I liked to give him a call.My dad said there was about a thousand surfboards there and that we didn’t think we would have a problem.When I got down stairs Josh and Des helped set up the board with fins,deckgrip and a leggy Dez even said that he would give JS a call about getting some super hot fins to wrap it up.I was still shaking with excitement and I called my mum to tell her the good news.
The next morning at 6 o’clock we got plenty of wave time however I got into trouble for not having my homework completed.I think it was worth it but I was advised not to let it happen again.
David I hope you had a great weekend because I sure did as I have been out on the board every day since.I would really appreciate it if you could pass on my thanks to all the guys and sponsors including your associates at World Surfaris,Kirrasurf,JS surfboards, earth n sea pizzas,Parko,Occy Josh Des and Phil and anybody else who I may of forgotten that contributed to the best night of my life.Hopefully this will be the start of a long and friendly relationship with you guys and I cant wait until I have enough money saved to afford my first trip with World Surfaris.Once again many thanks and I look forward to seeing you soon.
