Sa’Moana Resort Surf Report 29 Jun – 05 July

Report supplied by Sa’Moana Resort

Monday.  High tide @  1:13pm. No surfing today, small and closing out in front of resort.

Tuesday.  High tide @ 2:16pm.  There was a light south westerly blowing so the crew raced to Special K to check it out. Head high with sets a bit bigger and clean conditions. Some good fun waves if you picked the right one.

Wednesday.  High tide @  3:14pm.  The gang had another very fun afternoon session at Special K in head to head and a half high on the sets, with some very wedgie sections to pull into.

Thursday.  High tide @ 4:04pm.  Today saw the crew at waist to shoulder high Missions super clean, super fast right handers, with the Peak and the River Mouth bigger in size but, slightly open to the trade wind today.

Friday.  High tide @ 4:47pm  Again a nice swell and good winds but, due to the  unfavourable tides the guests opted to go on the Island Tour.

Saturday.  High tides @ 4:49am & 5:27pm. An early morning session at Pebbles today and once again very fast, hollow around shoulder high and off shore winds. A quick fish afterwards produced a nice Red Bass and small Dogtooth Tuna.

Sunday. High tides @  5:28am & 6:01pm. Super small swell. Great very clean conditions for surf out front at Resorts early but very quick sectiony.
