The Telo Island Lodge is great destination for surf travellers. If you’re thinking about heading to the Sumatra region for a surf trip then you can’t go wrong especially since they’ve been non-stop with the landscaping and other renovations. The below e-mail and attached photo was sent from resident Telo Island lodge photographer, Shane Peel, this afternoon, I know where I’d rather be.

Hey Guys,
As part of what we did in the off season we FULLY landscaped the whole grounds and put down new lawn and paths as well as outdoor showers (that’s the Nias style jumping stone on the left) I shot this about 10 minutes ago so you have an idea of what we have done, place is looking INSANE I will forward more stuff as we get it.
