Day # Date Report Remark
Day 1 30-Sep-08  Guests onboard last night. Departed early for north, still good swell and guests surfed clean ,light offshore 6ft Sultans on there own. Another midmorning great session at Sultans, 6ft, clean and again with only our guests out. Strong current in afternoon with only 4 guests surfing, came in early due to current.  Finished of a top day with a great first dinner and with guests retiring early.      All-round a great first day with awesome waves, nice sunny day, guests stoked.
Day 2 1-Oct-08 Early morning surf at 5ft perfect Jails with only our guests out. Mid morning guests had another great surf, this time at Sultans and Honkies, 5ft and uncrowded. Guests went snorkelling and diving mid afternoon and then late afternoon went fishing. Finished a great day off with another great meal and a few cold beers before retiring early.. Weather, hot and sunny and another great day of waves, diving, snorkelling and fishing.  
Day 3 2-Oct-08 Early morning, wind strong cross shore with messy waves. Mid morning wind swung off shore with guests surfing clean 5ft Sultans on their own. Afternoon session at clean 4 to 5ft jails with our guests and only 4 others out.    Average weather to start day then rest of day offshore resulting in another  great day of surfing.
Day 4 3-Oct-08 Early morning check found Sultans dead glassy, 3 to 4ft with no one out. Guests had 2 great sessions before lunch, 4 guests went diving at Manta Point. After noon session at small Jails cut short by strong current. Day finished off with another excellent meal and a few drinks before guests retired surfed out.  Awesome day of weather and super clean grassy waves. Guests surfed out and another excellent meal to finish day.
Day 5 4-Oct-08 Early morning surf and awesome snorkel at Chickens, waves were sheet glass, 2 to 3ft with only our guests out. Moved back to Sultans for the day and had two nice sessions at Sultans and Honkies, 2 to 3ft glassy, clean waves. Guests also went diving and snorkelling during the day. Weather, hot and sunny and another great day of waves, diving, and snorkelling. 
Day 6 5-Oct-08 Small swell, high tide so guests went for morning snorkel. Mid morning 4 guests went diving, other guests went snorkelling. Mid afternoon guests went surfing at Sultans and Honkies, 2 to 3ft clean with light offshores. Finished day off with a great last meal and movies of surfing during charter. Weather, hot, sunny with light offshores. Fun day of surfing, snorkelling and diving.
Day 7 6-Oct-08 Small swell again with 2 to 3ft clean and glassy. 4 Guests surfed Sultans while rest surfed clean fun Honkies both with only our guests out. Rest of morning guests relaxed, lazing around enjoying the last day before being dropped back at airport hotel.  Great week of waves and weather. Guests stoked with the waves, boat, crew and food. Great group of guys on charter.

Day 1 16-Sep-08  Guests onboard last night, Surfed clean 4 to 5ft Sultans all day with offshore winds and mostly with only our guests out. Finished of a top day with a great first dinner and with guests retiring early.      All-round a great first day, great waves, nice sunny day, guests surfed out.
Day 2 17-Sep-08 Early surf at Sultans with only our guests out. Surf again 4 to 5ft, Another two great sessions at clean glassy Sultans to finish another great day of surfing. Weather, hot and sunny and another great day of surfing.  
Day 3 18-Sep-08 Late morning surf at Sultans, 3ft to 4ft with strong off shores. Mid morning and a great session had at Sultans followed by a late arvo session, but this time crowded. Another great meal and guests retired early. More great weather and another big day of surfing. Moving to Cokes/ Chickens tomorrow
Day 4 19-Sep-08 Arrived Cokes/Chickens mid morning to find surf pumping. Guests surfed great waves 4 to 5ft offshore Cokes and Chickens all day with small numbers out in water.  Awesome day of waves followed by a great meal and guests retiring early.
Day 5 20-Sep-08 Early surf and guests surfed classic 4 to 5ft glassy Cokes and Chickens all day with only small numbers out. Another great day of surfing.   Another day with great weather and classic uncrowded perfect waves
Day 6 21-Sep-08 Early surf check found swell had risen and guests surfed classic 6 to 8ft glassy Cokes and Chickens all day with only small numbers out. One guest struck in face with own board and was stitched up (2 stitches) by doctor on board.   Awesome day of surfing at Cokes/Chickens with no crowds. Guests stoked and surfed out.
Day 7 22-Sep-08 Last day and guests surfed early and mid morning perfect 4 to 6ft glassy uncrowded Cokes and Chickens.    A great week of perfect waves and weather. Guests stoked with waves and left surfed out.

Day 1 9-Sep-08  Guests onboard last night,Surfed clean 4 to 5ft Sultans with offshore winds. Another session at Sultans mid morning,offshore and hollow.Late afternoon session at Jails, 3 to 4ft clean but inconsistant. Girls snorkelled through out the day and finished of a top day with a great first dinner and with guests retiring early.      All-round a great first day, nice sunny day, guests surfed and snorkelled out.
Day 2 10-Sep-08 Early surf at Sultans with only our guests out. Surf 5 to 6ft , offshore and pumping. After breakfast 5 guests went diving then all surfed Sultans again 5 to 6ft, offshore but crowded. Afternoon session again at Sultans, still solid and and pumping with no crowd. Birthday party for one of the guests, celebrated till early hours.  Weather, hot and sunny. Another great day of surfing and diving/snorkelling followed by an awesome sunset. 
Day 3 11-Sep-08 Late morning surf at Sultans, 3ft with strong offshores and crowded. After breakfast headed down to South Male Atoll, arriving midday where guests went swimming. Afternoon surf with 6 guests (3x learners) at 3ft Riptides with strong offshore winds while 3 others went diving. Another great meal and guests retired early. More great weather. Guests loved snorkelling, diving and surfing on their own in the South Atoll.
Day 4 12-Sep-08 Morning surf,4 guests 3 to 4ft offshore Riptides, while 2 guests surf small clean waves in front of Four Seasons. After breakfast guests went snorkelling with a huge amount of large Mana Rays. Afternoon. Late afternoon, 5 guests went ashore to visit Guraidoo Island for sightseeing and shopping.   Awesome day swimming with Mana Rays, Surfing and visiting to Island.
Day 5 13-Sep-08 Early surf at 4ft, light offshore, glassy riptides with only our guests out. After breakfast guests swam with Manta Rays then another great session at Riptides with only with our guests out again. Late arvo session at 4 seasons, 4 to 5ft barreling rights, 2 guests surfed lefts. Perfect day with great weather, swimming with Rays and best day of surfing so far.Returning early tomorrow for North Male Atoll.
Day 6 14-Sep-08 Arrived Cokes/Chickens mid morning to find surf pumping. Surfed with 2 guests at 6 to 8ft perfect Cokes while rest of guests surfed perfect 6ft Chickens. After lunch Ocean Dancer moved to Honkies. Guests surfed 4 to 5ft clean Jails with medium crew out.  Awsome day of surfing at Cokes/Chickens with no crowds. Guests stoked and surfed out.
Day 7 15-Sep-08 Guests surfed perfect, glassy 6 ft Sultans and Honkies all day with only our crew out most of the time. Last 2 days have no crowds and small amount of boats around as all breaks working. Awesome week of surf and weather, guests stoked with whole trip.  A great week of perfect waves and weather at both North and South Atolls. Guests leaving stoked with whole week.

Ocean Dancer Boat Report 2 - 9 September 2008

Day 1 2-Sep-08  Guests onboard last night, First light while motoring north guests saw Dolphin’s (100+) and surfed clean 4 to 5ft Sultans with offshore winds. Two more session at Sultans mid morning and late afternoon with simular conditions. Girls snorkelling through out the day. A great first dinner and guests retired early.      All-round a great first day, nice sunny day, guests surfed and snorkelled out.
Day 2 3-Sep-08 Last 2 guests arrived last night. Morning surf at Sultans, 4ft clean with off shore winds but crowded as many boats in area. After breakfast guests went diving and snorkelling with David. Great mid morning session at Sultans 4 to 5ft off shore winds. Afternoon session again at Sultans 3 to 4ft, wind cross shore. Late session at Ninja’s for 4 guests (Learners). Great meal to finish a top day.       Weather, hot and sunny. Another great day of surfing and diving/snorkelling followed by an awesome sunset. 
Day 3 4-Sep-08 Dawn surf at Sultans, 3 to 4ft with strong cross shore winds. Lot of boats at Sultans/Jails so we headed down to South Male Atoll. Arrived mid morning, 5 guests ( Learners) surfed small Riptides while remainder snorkelled. After lunch 6 guests went diving with David and Gaelle while remainder went snorkelling. Late afternoon guests went deep sea fishing.   More great weather. Guests loved snorkelling, diving and being on their own in the South Atoll.
Day 4 5-Sep-08 Morning surf with 3 guests (Learners) at 1 to 2ft Riptides. After breakfast guests went diving and snorkelling and on arriving back at boat came across a dozen large Mana Rays. Guests spent rest of morning and early afternoon swimming with rays. Afternoon, 5 guests went ashore to visit island while rest went fishing.   Awesome day with Mana Rays and guests enjoyed visit to island. Swell slowly building, heading back north tomorrow. 
Day 5 6-Sep-08 Motored back north, arriving Sultans mid morning. Guests surfed 3 to 4ft cross shore Chickens on arrivale, large crew out on both breaks. Afternoon session 2 guests surfed 4 to 5 ft cross shore Chickens for a hour on there own till crowd hit while 5 others surfed Cokes, cross shore but fun as not many in water. 4 other guests went diving with David.  Two fun sessions in surf after a couple of great days down south. Crowds a problem, hard to avoid with current weather conditions.  
Day 6 7-Sep-08 Early morning surf at 2 to 3ft cross shore Sultans, fun waves for first hour as only our guests out then 2 boats arrived packing out break. After surf 6 guests went Free Diving with David. Mid morning guests went diving with Manta Rays.Afternoon surf at Cokes and Chickens 3ft, cross shore fun waves with only our guests out. Another day of fun waves and nice dive at Manta Point.
Day 7 8-Sep-08 Early morning surf at Sultans, new swell with clean 4ft waves for first hour as only our guests out. After breakfast swell increased with incoming tide and gusts had great final surf at 4 to 6ft, light offshore Sultans. Lunch then Ocean Dancer departed back for Lohi’s to drop two guests off then on to Male to drop remainder of guests off. Great final day of weather and waves. Great group of guests and they were stoked with whole trip.

Hi Shaun,

These pic’s are from the last 3 days, best waves I have ever had !!!!

Guests were surfed out of their skin and so stoked as it ranged from 4 to 8ft plus.

Tomorrow is looking good for the new guests and the swell looks like holding for the whole week so it coulkd be a good first charter depending on their ability.

I think we will be heading for Cokes/Chickens tomorrow so I will keep you updated by text or will phone you with what is happening with the dingy.
