Subject: Our holiday.
To Dear Sam,
I just wanted to drop you a note to thank yourself and the resort for a great holiday. The resort was beautiful and perfect for what we wanted (except for some hot water issues)
The beach was lovley and even manicured especially for us. We did not want to mess it up. The surf was good when it arrived on Monday and we got at least 1 surf per day for the rest of the holiday.
The break was uncrowed, mostly glassy with crystal clear water, beautiful coral and a peaky left hander peeling across the bay. Only the occasional right on the point.
The middle break did have a multitude of right handers coming through but we chose to stick with the lefts. The waves were what I would call approx 3 foot to six foot on take off (about head height to almost double head height) diminishing as the wave progressed toward the reef.
It was not a long wave but with the sheer number of waves caught and the great take offs there was more than enough to keep us excited about Vanuatu.
With thoughts of coming back.
Anyone planning a trip should not go there just for surf. You plan to try and get the best surf and then keep your fingers crossed.
I did hear a lot of stories of how big the waves get there and would love to see the place going off.
The people were fantastic. The Vanuatu natives were the nicest people you would ever hope to meet.
We felt very safe for the entire trip.
Thanks for all your assistance and best wishes for the future.
Kindest Regards
Keep in touch.
