We didn't get a big swell but we had fun waves every day. Even when the swell droped off the camp took us to secret swell magnets down south.

Because you burn so much energy it would be good if they had fruit to snack on between meals. But generally i couldn't fault the place.

Having been before (7 years previous) I knew what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at a few little changes and improvements.

Didn't get a solid groundswell - but I knew the region was more fickle than some before I left and the willingness of the crew to get you in the best waves possible, despite the size, or the wind, helped to ensure I was surfed out no matter what

Very well-run rotation system out to all the local breaks by the management staff.

Unfortunately we didn't get much swell – not much anyone can do about that. To be fair though, the quality of the accommo and the facilities were such that we were able to enjoy ourselves thoroughly the whole time.

Maybe – I loved the place but not sure I could justify the expense and ultimately not score anything above 2ft.

NIR is an awesome place – if we had of scored waves I would be booking next year already!

Air Nuigini were pretty bad. There were delays on the way home for our group as well as the cancellation on the way there. In the end it was funny, we were able to have a laugh about it, but at the time in the oppressive heat of Port Moresby

Yoga mats definitely required. More evening entertainment rather than just piss-drinking. A little bit more organisation in the kitchen so meals come out roughly in order of when they were ordered!

When it was on at 4-6 feet it was exellent for a surfer loooking for a challenge without being to heavy.

Would like to see one litre bottles of water available. Small bottles did not last long and would be a recycling nightmare. Would be great if there was a better way to connect flights on return leg, as the wait at Port Moresby

hi Cath . we had the best holiday ever. gr8 waves , food ,and service. the locals are so welcoming .and so friendly. a truly gr8 place 4 a holiday. especially with a surfboard. thanks again Kev ward.
The waves were good fun, varied and never over-crowded. Altogether it was a comfortable and pleasurable way to surf PNG, a country which would challenge the independent traveller.
