Thanks cath,
Yes I did manage to get waves, mostly it was pretty small but we had 2 good size days and only one non surf day so all in all it was good. It was a nice group of guys of the boat too. The surf guide " easy" was fantastic, really lovely and all his knowlege re what the surf would be like in different places was spot on. Also the chef was brilliant, the food was a major highlight of the trip. I'll definitely be recommending the boat to my friends and maybe do another trip next year. Thanks for your help with the bookings, take care, jemma.

Hi Cath,
What a trip the best waves we have had in four trips to the wonderful Maldives.
As usual the crew was number one very helpful and keen to do anything for us.
I think they owe us one as we helped them bet the other boats in the fishing comp with a total of 11 in one night. Red emperor 9kg red snapper 12-15 kg and dolphin fish taking top weights plus a lemon shark that was to big to get on the boat.
Not sure what to say about the waves,
We didn’t have a single day of no waves and often found myself talking to myself about how good it was, and where is everybody else in the world as I turned around with my spaghetti arms to take another perfect wave as there is no one else around apart from my friends that are scattered down the reef 150 mtrs after just having another sick wave.
And this all happened before the swell started to increase and we found some left handers, you can imagine how that was with more then half of the boat being goofy footers yahoo
I ended up with bruising all down my arm from pinching it to make sure that I was a wake.
We will send some photos in when we go though the 3000+
Notice the 1.5 ltr water bottle in the photo with the fish

Thanks so much to world surfaris for the awesome trip. Whilst we didn't score totally epic waves, the wave quality and consistency at 3ft, far surpassed anything we would surf in a year back here, and for that we were stoked. Marte our surf guide was the greatest and Captain Soba and his crew highly professional and entertaining. I can't express how good Martey was in regard to his surfing knowledge, cultural exchange and total friendliness - we felt like locals. To have a "local" guide who could tell us so much about the culture, take us on a tour of one of the islands in the Haafa group, and still get us into the best and most uncrowded surf conditions, made our trip unforgettable as a complete package. The food was excellent, the boat perfect and I'm sure we'll be lamenting the rest of spring on the east coast, as we fondly remember the long lines of Maldivian swell.
If I was to go again, I'd definitely be asking for Marte and the crew of the Handhu. Don't lose them if you can.
Thanks again for getting us into such an awesome trip.
Regards
Steve

Kirsten,
Just thought I would drop you a line to say thank you for everything you
done for us organizing our trip! This trip was by far the best thing I
have ever done. All the guys agree it was the trip of our lives. The
crew of the handhu were so great and they waited on us hand and foot.
This experience has sparked a flame in all of us and we will be trying
do a trip every year now.
Anyway thanks again and I will be in touch with you when I start
planning our next trip.
Cheers
Brad

Shaun:
Stu asked that I forward some shots to you of the Handhu. My buddies and I were on board Mar. 19-Apr.4 and had a fantastic time. The boat was pristine, the crew was top notch and fun, the food rocked – and the waves, well, they were just the icing on the cake (especially Love Charms at double to triple overhead).
I hope I get the opportunity to travel with your team again. It was simply awesome.
See you in the water…
