The trip was great. Swell the whole time. Surfed two sessions each day except for one (windy) and the day we left. The staff was excellent, with great food and the Bintangs were always cold. The resort has done so much to improve the place since I was there in 2007. We will be booking again for the same time frame next year.

For the average surfer like me you just can’t go wrong up there, the variety of waves and the amazing settings of the breaks, the fact that you are not surfing with a bunch of other people and then the lodge and island itself are beautiful. The fact that the camp operators are super knowledgeable (and they rip) also helps immensely. I’ll go back for sure.
