World Surfaris founder, Shaun Levings, has been involved in the travel industry since 1985.

Spending 7 years at Thomas Cook Travel and then 3 years as General Manager of STC (Surf Travel Co.), in 1996, Shaun and wife Jacqui decided to escape the rat race of Sydney and move to Queensland's Sunshine Coast (Noosa). In February 1997, World Surfaris started with very humble beginnings representing just 1 boat charter in the Maldives.

World Surfaris represent a diverse range of "Unique Surf Adventures" catering to all standards of surfers and their budgets. A major ingredient for success has been maintaining the highest customer service standards whilst selling at very competitive prices.

 The motto "Get the hell out of Here" is an apt way to describe the company philosophy as Shaun explains " We want our clients to escape their regular routine (ie. Work or study, not enough surf time, overcrowding, fickle conditions, busy family life etc.) to get to the tropics and surf uncrowded reef perfection.
